Wladimir Klitschko-Eddie Chambers Live Round By Round Updates Today
For anyone wondering if it was possible for you to view today's heavyweight title match between Wladimir Klitschko and Eddie Chambers, the answer is... yes you can. Just head to www.klitschko.com and indicate your willingness to part with $14.95 of your hard-earned money.
If that option isn't available to you, allow us to present another. Bookmark our home page and return here later today. Starting at around 4 pm Eastern, I'll be doing a live blog of undercard action. And shortly after 6 pm Eastern, I'll have a live round by round post of the showdown that may very well draw a crowd of 51,000-plus fans.
And yes, I'm well aware there is a basketball tournament going on in the U.S. that is taking up a lot of your time and attention. Surely you can set aside just a little time for the sweet science this afternoon, right?
Thought so. See you later today.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey Live Round By Round Updates Tonight
Manny Pacquiao is back in action tonight, so you know there's no way we would miss this one.
Pac Man has reached the point where people will tune in even with a relatively unknown opponent. But don't sleep on Joshua Clottey, a big, tough welterweight who is likely to present some brand new challenges to the Filipino superstar.
If you're unlucky enough not to be able to see the fight tonight, no worries. We'll keep you updated with posts throughout "The Event," including a live blog for the televised undercard fights and a round by round post for the lightweight title fight between David Diaz and Humberto Soto. And, of course, we'll have another live round by round post for the Pacquiao-Clottey fight.
Bookmark our home page and watch for posts starting shortly after 9 pm Eastern time tonight.

Live Darchinyan-Guerrero and Alexander-Urango Round By Round Updates Tonight
Here at BoxingWatchers.com, our live round by round blogging skills are getting a tad rusty. It's not our fault, or anyone's really, just a reflection of a year in boxing that has gotten off to a slow start.
That starts to change tonight with Showtime and HBO both broadcasting title fights. Always entertaining Vic Darchinyan steps in against Rodrigo Guerrero on ShoBox, while Devon Alexander squares off with Juan Urango on Boxing After Dark.
If you are like us, you are hungry for live boxing action and will be in front of the TV tonight. If circumstances don't allow that, allow us to propose an alternative: bookmark our site and come back here tonight so we can fill you in on the action as it happens.
We'll have individual round by round posts for the Alexander-Urango (starting around 9 pm Eastern) and Darchinyan-Guerrero (shortly after 10, perhaps) out on our home page. And if we're able, we'll do one for the Showtime opener between Lenny Zappavigna and Fernando Angulo too, because that's just how we do.
See you tonight...

Edwin Valero-Antonio DeMarco Live Round By Round Updates Tonight (Plus More, Weather Permitting)
The BoxingWatchers are all based in different parts of Pennsylvania. As you may have heard or read, we've had quite a bit of snow here over the past 18 hours. Quite a bit.
Is that going to stop us from bringing people with no access to Showtime live round by round updates of the Edwin Valero-Antonio DeMarco fight? Perish the thought!
I'm not sure who exactly is going to do it, but one of us is going to be posting to the main page starting around 9 pm Eastern tonight. Also on the card is Luis Carlos Abregu facing Richard Gutierrez, and we'll live blog that bout as well.
And who knows? If we're really lucky and the weather cooperates, maybe we'll be able to do the Tomasz Adamek-Jason Estrada fight too. No promises on that one though.
Get snowed in with live boxing updates and join us later tonight!

Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Steven Luevano, Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Rogers Mtagwa: Live Round By Round Updates Tonight
Reunited, and it feels so good!
That classic gem from Peaches & Herb sums up how boxing fans feel about seeing the sport come to life for a new year. The de facto winter break for the Sweet Science is over, and Juan Manuel Lopez and Yuriorkis Gamboa will usher in a new year tonight.
Lopez takes on Steven Luevano in the main event on HBO's Boxing After Dark, and it's a fight that could very well decisively prove if Juanma is all he's cracked up to be. In the co-feature, Gamboa squares off with a tough fighter who rocked Lopez late, Rogers Mtagwa.
If you aren't lucky enough to be at MSG and don't have access to HBO, we'll help you get your fix of live updates for both fights right here. Head out to the main page around 10 pm Eastern, and we'll have constantly updated posts for both fights.

Live Diaz-Malignaggi II and Bradley-Peterson Round By Round Updates Tonight, Plus Vic Darchinyan, Vitali Klitschko and More
The 2009 year in boxing pretty much closes out (except for you, Kelly Pavlik) tonight, but at least it goes out with a bang. HBO and Showtime both have cards that, at least on paper, look like they should be fun.
Showtime's broadcast kicks off first, with Vic Darchinyan taking on Tomas Rojas. Then in the main event, two talented young junior welterweights collide when Timothy Bradley and Lamont Peterson go at it for Bradley's WBO title.
You'll be able to watch a good bit of that card before switching over to HBO 90 minutes later for a rare Boxing After Dark tripleheader. Victor Ortiz tries to return to his winning ways against Antonio Diaz and a rematch awaits for Juan Diaz and Paulie Malignaggi, plus there's a heavyweight title defense for Vitali Klitschko brought to us via the magic of tape delay.
This would be a good night to have two TVs set up in the same room, or at least one of those DVR contraptions. Failing that, you can watch your card of choice and bookmark us here to get live round by round updates of the other fights (except for Vitali, whose fight will already be in the past when you see it - spooky!).
In any case, spartan117 and I are going to split up blogging duties and do live posts for each televised fight, because that's just the kind of guys we are. Visit our main page to find the round by round posts, which should start shortly after 9 pm Eastern (for the Showtime bouts) and 10:30 pm Eastern (for the HBO card) tonight.

Live Jean Pascal-Adrian Diaconu II Round By Round Updates Tonight... Weather and Technology Permitting
Technology is a wonderful thing, more often than not. Without it, a site like this would not exist, and I would not have been able to see nearly as much boxing as I'd like.
Weather is something I'm not as fond of. It's already put the kibosh, apparently, on ESPN being able to carry the Jean Pascal-Adrian Diaconu rematch on ESPN360.com tonight. However, it appears the folks at SecondsOutTV.com will still be streaming it. Check out this link to investigate watching it yourself, because outside of Canada the price is only equivalent to $6.50.
Failing that, as long as everything holds up, I'll be watching it live and doing round by round updates on this very blog. Simply bookmark our main page, cross your fingers and come back around 8:30 Eastern to see if, for one night at least, technology trumps nature.
UPDATE: Don't want to jinx myself, but so far so good on the streaming video, and I believe I will be able to do a round by round post. We're in the middle of an eight-rounder on the undercard as I type this (8:17 Eastern), and I believe there is a 10-rounder still to come, so I don't expect Pascal and Diaconu to get down to business until after 9 pm Eastern.
UPDATE 2: Canadian light heavyweight Eric Lucas just dropped Ramon Moyano with a mean left hook for a fourth-round KO. If I have the card correct, we still have David Lemieux vs. Delray Raines before the main event.
UPDATE 3: Lemieux thrills the fans at the Bell Centre by going to 20-0 with a crushing second-round KO of Raines. One more short swing bout, it appears, before we get Pascal-Diaconu.

Live Paul Williams-Sergio Martinez and Chris Arreola-Brian Minto Round By Round Updates Tonight
It's not the fight Paul Williams originally wanted, or the one most boxing fans were looking forward to, quite honestly. He won't face middleweight champ Kelly Pavlik tonight in Atlantic City, but he still could be in for a tough night as he takes on elusive Spaniard Sergio Martinez on HBO.
The undercard features heavyweight Chris Arreola, attempting to bounce back quickly from his first ever loss. He'll take on Brian Minto in the other televised bout.
Can't make it to AC or to a TV with HBO? We'll be doing live round by round updates of both fights beginning at approximately 9:30 Eastern time. Simply click on our home page and refresh every few minutes and you'll be up to speed with all the action.
Talk to you tonight fight fans!

Live Bernard Hopkins-Enrique Ornelas Round By Round Updates Tonight, Plus Roy Jones-Danny Green
Two legendary if aging American boxers are in action tonight, hoping to set up a rematch that is years in the making.
Bernard Hopkins takes on Enrique Ornelas in his hometown of Philadelphia, while Roy Jones Jr. goes down under to take on Danny Green. That fight has already taken place, so you may know what happened; otherwise, you can see how it went down on Versus tonight.
In any case, we know not everybody, even in the U.S., has access to Versus. So we'll be doing live round by round updates for Hopkins-Ornelas for as long as it lasts. Simply bookmark our home page and head back here shortly after 8 pm Eastern tonight.

Live Bute-Andrade II and Guzman-Funeka Round By Round Updates Tonight
It's tough to squeeze in blogging about boxing during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. There are family obligations aplenty and much leftover turkey to be eaten.
Nevertheless, some combination of the BoxingWatchers will be doing our thing for HBO's Boxing After Dark broadcast tonight. If you can't watch Lucian Bute in his rematch with Librado Andrade or see Joan Guzman return to the ring to take on tough Ali Funeka, join us here for our take on the action as it happens.
Out on the home page we'll have separate posts for each fight. The televised portion of the card from Quebec City should get underway shortly after 10 pm Eastern, so bookmark us for later on tonight.

Mikkel Kessler-Andre Ward Live Round By Round Updates Tonight
Greetings fight fans. Now that the hysteria of the Pacquiao-Cotto fight has died down, it's time to get back to business. And the business at hand is the final fight of the first stage of the Super Six World Boxing Classic, pitting Andre Ward against Mikkel Kessler.
Assuming you won't be at the fight tonight in Oakland, you can catch it on Showtime starting at 10 pm Eastern, 7 pm Pacific. If you can't watch it, I've got an alternative: bookmark our home page and watch for our post with live round by round updates.
Can Ward save some face for the Americans? Or will Kessler make it a clean sweep for the Europeans? Find out tonight!

Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto Live Round By Round Updates Tonight

Firepower is finally here!
Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto both made weight and looked healthy and ready to go, so we're all set for the biggest fight of the year. With two popular, action-oriented fighters and a number of intriguing storylines, it's hard to imagine there are any boxing fans anywhere who aren't interested in this one.
There are several great ways to watch the fight, including in person or on closed circuit TV in Las Vegas and, of course, on pay-per-view in many other places. If none of those options are available to you, we're here to be your last resort for keeping up with the action.
We'll have a live blog out on our home page for the (somewhat underwhelming) undercard, then we'll start a brand new post with live round by round updates of the Pacquiao-Cotto bout. Bookmark us and refresh often for the latest.
The televised undercard gets underway at 9 pm Eastern (even earlier fights can be seen at Yahoo! Sports) and my educated guess is that the main event may start around midnight. See you later tonight!

Chad Dawson-Glen Johnson II: Live Round By Round Updates Tonight
It's rematch time tonight in Hartford, Connecticut. Can Chad Dawson win in more convincing fashion in a second bout with Glen Johnson after sweating out some anxious moments in the latter stages of his decision victory the first time?
Or can the Road Warrior defiantly spit in the face of Father Time and avenge what he considers to be an injustice perpetrated by the judges? We'll find out live tonight on HBO, along with seeing Alfredo Angulo go for the gold - sort of, in the form of a WBO interim belt - against Harry Joe Yorgey.
If you aren't able to see the fights, you can get our take as they unfold thanks to our live round by round posts. We'll have them out on the main page as they happen, beginning shortly after 9:30 pm (Eastern time) tonight.

Live Froch-Dirrell Round By Round Updates Plus Abraham-Taylor Round By Round Tonight
It's time! Time for the Super Six World Boxing Classic to get underway, that is.
Tonight's first wave of fights will see Arthur Abraham take on Jermain Taylor, while Carl Froch defends his super middleweight title against Andre Dirrell in England. Showtime will televise both fights in the U.S., and it appears that Abraham-Taylor will air on a delay and Froch-Dirrell will be live.
That being the case, we'll be here for any boxing fans unfortunate enough to not be able to see the bouts on TV. We'll have separate posts for both fights out on our home page, and we'll even act like the Abraham-Taylor fight is happening live. Just keep yourself away from spoilers elsewhere on the internets and you'll be fine!
Join us here around 8 pm Eastern time tonight as the World Boxing Classic begins.

Live Latin Fury 12 (Juan Manuel Lopez, Yuriorkis Gamboa and More) Round By Round Updates Tonight
Part of me definitely does not like covering things like tonight's Latin Fury 12 pay-per-view, because it's hard to get excited about a card whose top two fighters should easily emerge victorious. Then again, perhaps we're doing readers a service by watching it for you, in case you decide (understandably) that you'd rather hold off and save the money for, say, the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight next month. Top Rank would be okay with that, I think, because they get your money either way!
Anyway, whether you opt out or just can't see the fights tonight for whatever reason, you can get live round by round updates for Juan Manuel Lopez, Yuriorkis Gamboa and whoever else fights on the televised part of the card tonight. Where? Right here! Or more precisely, on the home page where we'll have new posts for the undercard and the co-features. Then just refresh and enjoy.
The action begins at 9 pm Eastern time tonight, so join us then.

Live V. Klitschko-Arreola Round By Round Updates Tonight
Can we please get a referendum on how to write the short version of Cristobal Arreola's first name?
I mean, I can understand how Cris might be the preferred spelling, since it's a shortened version of his full name. Yet for years I've seen it spelled Chris, and some sites (I'm looking your way, ESPN.com!) have it both ways in different articles. It makes things tough for hard working boxing writers and bloggers everywhere.
Now that I have that little rant out of the way, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I'm looking forward to Arreola's heavyweight title fight with Vitali Klitschko tonight. He deserves to be a big underdog, and I believe big brother Klitschko will win. But I think Chris/Cris at least has a chance to pull off the upset, and that's more than I can say about numerous recent heavyweight bouts.
If you can't tune in to HBO tonight, consider joining us here for live round by round updates by one of our intrepid bloggers. We'll do up a new post for the fight on the home page shortly after 10 pm Eastern time tonight, and then the simple act of refreshing your browser will have you keeping up with the action in no time.

Mayweather-Marquez and John-Juarez II Live Round By Round Updates Tonight
Boxing fans rejoice! That big fight feel is in the air again, courtesy of Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez. And while several factors (Floyd's possible rustiness, Juan's big jump up in weight) increase the risk that the bout itself might not live up to the hype, Money and Dinamita are unquestionably two of the best around.
In a rarity over the past few years, there's actually an undercard match worth caring about, as Chris John and Rocky Juarez face off again after battling to a draw in February. Good stuff.
There's still plenty of time to order the pay-per-view or look into seeing it in HD on a huge screen at a theater near you. For those of you who can't take advantage of either one of those options, we're here to help you follow the action.
Spartan117 and I will be blogging live during the PPV, with separate posts for the first two undercard fights, the John-Juarez rematch and the Mayweather-Marquez main event out on the home page. Join us for round by round recaps as they happen, shortly after 9 pm Eastern time tonight.

Live Kessler-Perdomo, Ward-Pudwill Round By Round Updates
Hey all. If you're new here, welcome. And if you've visited before, welcome back.
Here's what we're going to do tonight: we're going to make sure that everyone who can't watch the doubleheader on Showtime, featuring Super Six World Boxing Classic participants Mikkel Kessler and Andre Ward in tune-up fights, knows what's going on as it happens.
How will we do that? Well, we'll have our very own Spartan117 blog live during the fights to give you the round by round scoop. We'll have new posts for Kessler-Perdomo and Ward-Pudwill out on our home page. The fun begins shortly after 10 pm Eastern.
Oh, and yes, technically the Kessler fight won't be live, but will instead be the dreaded "same day coverage." Just stay off the internets until tonight and you can act like it's live, just like us.

Oh, and yes, technically the Kessler fight won't be live, but will instead be the dreaded "same day coverage." Just stay off the internets until tonight and you can act like it's live, just like us.

Live Urango-Bailey and Cloud-Woods Round By Round Updates Tonight
Friday Night Fights closes out its 2009 season with a bang tonight with two, count 'em, two title fights of the IBF variety. Juan Urango and Randall Bailey go mano e mano at 140 pounds, while Tavoris Cloud and Clinton Woods do the same at 175.
These fights are actually pretty easy to see, given that they're on ESPN2 in the U.S. and available to stream to your computer through SecondsOutTV.com elsewhere. Nevertheless, we know there are some people who won't be able to watch.
That's where we come in. Join me and Uatu (in his first appearance as a married man!) as we recap the action with live round by round posts out on the main page. Then you can hit refresh to see the latest. See how easy it is?
The fun should begin shortly after 10 pm Eastern time. Be here or be elsewhere!
